Antimicrobial prescribing: NHS Forth Valley
- Refer to primary care guidance for commonly managed community infections.
- Refer to hospital inpatient guidance for other infections.
Many will have appropriate oral options. Complicated infections warranting IV antibiotic outside of chest, urine, skin can be discussed on case-by-case with A+H and microbiology consultant.
