Important: Therapy
Amoxicillin +/- clarithromycin PO (if atypical suspected) for 3-7 days
Treat for 10 days if atypical organism
Notes:
Consider using Penicillin V PO if organism confirmed as sensitive
Community Acquired Pneumonia - Mild to moderate
Micro Organisms
Strep. pneumonia (lobar pneumonia)
