Permitted indications

May be used for the following indications:

  1. Bacterial meningitis.
  2. Brain Abscess.
  3. Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (IM/IV).
  4. Epididymitis (IM).
  5. Chancroid (IM).
  6. Gonorrhoea (IM).
  7. Orbital cellulitis.
  8. Treatment of acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (ABSSSI) in adults suitable for Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy (OPAT).
  9. Epiglottitis (only with ENT Specialist advice).
