Trichomoniasis
If discharge is frothy, yellow and offensive with vulval itch or soreness and dysuria, consider trichomoniasis.
In all cases, obtain a sexual history.
Offer testing for all STIs
Refer to Chalmers Centre including advice on treating contacts
Metronidazole 2g orally as a single dose
OR
Metronidazole 400mg every 12 hours orally for 7 days
