Diagnostic Tips

• Usually rapid growth
• Suspect keratitis nodules with thickened base
• Predominantly arise on sun-exposed, sun damaged sites
• Most commonly affected areas are back of hands, forearms, scalp, lower lip, pinna
• Organ transplant patients or other immunosuppressed patients are at risk

• Urgent referral 
• Please state size and location of lesion
• Please photograph lesion
• Please state length of time present or evolution of lesion
