- Refer to gynaecology with CA125
|
| Complex cyst <5 cm |
- Follow up with TV scan US in 12 weeks to demonstrate resolution
- Refer if an increase in size
- If no change or decrease, discharge
- Note: see below re post-menopausal
|
| Complex Cyst > 5 cm |
- Gynaecology referral and CA125
|
| Indeterminate cyst/mass after TVUS |
- Gynaecology referral with CA125 (gynaecology team will decide if MRI appropriate)
|
| Cyst with frankly malignant features or solid mass any size |
- Gynae referral, CA125 and staging CT (chest, abdominal, pelvis)
- Note: If <25 yrs further tumour markers and MRI prior to CT may be arranged at the discretion of gynaecology
|
| Post menopausal any sized complex cyst |
- Gynaecology referral, CA125 and staging CT (chest, abdominal, pelvis) but if age <40 yrs, further tumour markers and MRI - additional CT at discretion of gynaecology MDT
