Methylene Blue by Bladder Installation in Theatre
This product is not licensed for use for this indication. It may only be used by staff when authorised to do so by a Consultant Obstetrician
An entry should be made in the methylene blue Register in theatre each time an ampoule is used. The following details will be required :
- Date
- Name of Consultant authorising use
- Patient Name
- Theatre Midwife
This guideline applies to all Obstetric Medical or Midwifery staff involved in the use of methylene blue in GGC.
