  • All patients admitted to hospital under an EDC should be reviewed by an Approved Medical Practitioner within 24 hours.
  • All patients admitted to hospital under the care of Psychiatry, whether under the powers of an EDC, or an STDC must be reviewed by a senior Psychiatrist (ST4 grade or above) within 48 hours.
