Clostridioides difficile Infection

Therapy

  • Stop/simplify concomitant antibiotic(s) 
  • Review/ stop gastric acid suppression and antimotility agents 
  • Review NSAID/ACE/ARB/diuretic agents 
  • Assess for clinical or radiological evidence of severe colitis. 

Oral Vancomycin 125mg 6 hourly
