CKS: Urinary tract infection - children
PHE: Guidance: Urinary tract infection: diagnostic tools for primary care
Child less than 3 months: refer urgently for assessment.
Child older than 3 months use positive nitrite to guide.
Start antibiotics: also send pre-treatment MSU.
Imaging: only refer if child less than 6 months, or recurrent or atypical UTI.
