Study population:
Secondary prevention in patients at high risk of cardiovascular events.
Included patients with previous MI, acute MI, previous stroke/TIA, and other high risk (excluding acute stroke)
Comments:
Antiplatelets included aspirin (most widely studied), clopidogrel, dipyridamole, and other antiplatelets not commonly used in UK practice.
