Warning
- Refer all cases to sexual health for treatment and partner notification.
- Avoid 2g dose in pregnancy and breast feeding.
- Full STI screening is recommended, to include Chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV and Syphilis.
- Test of cure is recommended if symptoms persist
- All partners within 4 weeks of symptom onset should be tested +/- treated.

Trichomoniasis
Metronidazole 400mg twice daily or 2g as a single dose
5 to 7 days
