COVID-19: Care and treatment pathway (Guidelines)

This pathway shows where and when staff should use key guidelines to assess, test, treat and discharge patients who have, or are suspected to have, COVID-19. 
Guidance on how to prevent the transmission of COVID-19, particularly to those at the highest risk of adverse outcomes from contracting COVID-19 is also included in the pathway. 
All guidance is accessible on TAM. 
Some specialties have specific guidance on the management of patients during the coronavirus pandemic - Staff should ensure that they are also familiar with these, as appropriate.
