Lymphorrhoea is defined as the leaking of clear lymphatic fluid through the surface of the skin. Lymphorrhoea usually presents as beads of fluid trickling down the affected limb or swollen region. The volume of lymphatic fluid leaking out may vary between individual patients, but it can lead to maceration of surrounding tissues which then provides an entry site for infection.
