Tablets 135mg
Dosage:
1 tablet 3 times daily, preferably 20 minutes before meals.

MHRA advice: Hyoscine butylbromide (Buscopan) injection: risk of serious adverse effects in patients with underlying cardiac disease (February 2017) (www.gov.uk).
- The oral formulation of hyoscine butylbromide is poorly absorbed and therefore is not recommended.

Injection 20mg/mL
Dosage:
By intramuscular or slow intravenous injection, acute spasm and spasm in diagnostic procedures, 20mg repeated after 30 minutes if necessary (may be repeated more frequently in endoscopy).
